At Atelier Février, our designs are our own, but every so often, we open the atelier to a collaboration, and always with someone we’ve come to trust and know well over time. A few of these have been taking shape this summer, and we wanted to share them with you directly.
Roseau, with François Mascarello
We’re delighted to introduce Roseau, our latest collaboration with François Mascarello. The rug reimagines the reed and the lily as a single hybrid form, its petals and pistils in burgundy, dusty pink, olive and soft blue drifting above a pale ground of raised white thread work. A garden underfoot, one that never fades.
Fresque II, with Olivia Cognet
Some of our most rewarding work happens over time, with designs being reiterated again and again. From our ongoing works with Olivia Cognet, we’ve been playing with thinner pieces. Among them a recent favourite: a Fresque II realised in a rich green colourway that has caught the whole team’s eye, a familiar design finding an entirely new mood in a different palette.
